Providing a Safe and Secure Stay
The team at Las Alcobas is doing everything possible to provide you with peace of mind during your stay. We’ve increased our sanitation practices and added new protocols to make sure our property is ready to welcome you. Take a look at what we’re doing around the hotel to counter the spread of COVID-19.
Sanitation and Safety Protocols
We have introduced intensified hygiene and safety measures across all major touch points in our operations, in accordance with guidelines issued by local health authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This includes the increased cleaning and disinfecting of the high-transit areas such as: lobby areas, public bathrooms, and elevators.
Most importantly, we completed a significant overhaul of all our heat, ventilation, and air condition systems with the installation of the patented “Sterile Aire.” This state-of-the-art technology, working with Ultraviolet-C light, has been installed in every public area and also every guest room. With this important investment, we guarantee the freshness and cleanliness of the air throughout the property.
We also continue to explore and test new technology to elevate our sanitization methods, such as electrostatic sprayers, foggers, and UVC light. All guests and associates, upon returning to work or entering the hotel, are required to have their temperature checked, and follow-up systems are in place to review the well-being of our team across all areas.
Seamless Personalization
Our property offers alternative check-in and checkout options, contactless in-room dining options, parking, and housekeeping services tailored to guests’ needs and comfort. Specialized care kits will be provided to all guests and include face masks, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizer (gloves will be available upon request). Social distancing is observed throughout our property, with reduced capacity in relevant locations, including lobby areas, elevators, dining, fitness, and spa facilities.
We have elevated our rigorous cleaning procedures for all guest rooms in compliance with our partner Ecolab, and we introduced additional safety measures such as deeper sanitation practices.

The health and safety of our team has been of the utmost importance during these times. Wellness checks for all staff members, training on personal protective equipment, and mandatory personal protective equipment for our staff are enforced. The team undergoes mandatory health and safety protocols, including enhanced cleaning protocols as guided by our partners at Ecolab and Marriott, to ensure a safe work environment for you, our guest, and for everyone at Las Alcobas Mexico City.
